For years my body reacted to things in an order that made no sense to anyone, including me. Wine but not always. Heat, sometimes. A hot shower could give me hives across my chest. My physician was kind and completely unequipped, and said so honestly, which I appreciated more than the ones who pretended. A university clinic named it in 2019 and put me on a protocol. I would say I have seventy percent of my life back. I still travel with a written list of what I cannot be in a room with, but I travel.
