After the storm we did what everyone did, which was gut what was obviously ruined and keep what looked fine. What looked fine was not fine. For six years I had recurring pneumonia and a fatigue that no amount of sleeping touched, and three different doctors treated three different pieces of it. The urine mycotoxin panel was the first test that made anyone look at the whole picture. My insurance would not cover it. I paid out of pocket and it was the best four hundred dollars I have ever spent, which tells you something depressing about the system I was in.
